Happy Holidays from the Graduate College
December 15, 2022
On behalf of the Graduate College, I want to wish you joy, peace and good health this holiday season!
It has been wonderful to see so many of you gather in the Graduate College office in Main Building to enjoy a cup of coffee and share how your term is going. I hope that you will be able to take some time to relax, unwind and gather safely with loved ones over the winter break, more so than we have been able to do in recent years.
The holidays are a time to celebrate light, including the light within you. You have worked hard this year and you should be very proud of your accomplishments, big and small, despite the many challenges we've faced. I couldn’t be more grateful to you, our graduate students, for your contributions and for continuing to inspire us with your ambition and resilience.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to the staff in the Graduate College. We are here to support you throughout your graduate education. I hope you will take advantage of available health and wellness resources and seek support as needed, including through SupportLinc, Drexel’s Employee Assistance Program, a free 24/7 confidential and professional service for support, guidance, counseling and resources offered to graduate students and their household members and families. For those of you who are planning to report to campus over the break, be sure to review our winter break operations message.
As we enter a new calendar year, I am hopeful for continued progress in making Drexel a more welcoming and inclusive place for our graduate community.
Please stay safe, take care and be well.
